Our SEND Team

 

At Spring Hill High School we believe it is every child’s right to achieve his or her full potential. We aim to raise the aspirations of, and expectations for all pupils with Special Educational Needs.

 

 

At Spring Hill High School, the Special Education Needs Coordinator is Clare McGrath. Our SENCo assistant is Kieran Bradley.

Both Clare and Kieran gained the National SENCo Award .

 

Clare is an experienced teacher in both the primary and secondary curriculum; her main subject fields are Food Technology and Textiles. She is also a member of the school’s Senior Leadership Team.

Kieran also has both primary and secondary experience with his main subject being Science.

“It was lovely to meet you, Clare and I am glad that you sound as passionate about the AET Progression Framework as I am! I really enjoyed meeting AA again, after not seeing him for several months. He looked very smart, happy and confident, and the conversation we had together showed an increased level of maturity, especially as he had not been expecting to see me. It was lovely to see how enthusiastic and positive he was about his future, having high expectations of himself.”
