The Battle Of Erdington - Spring Hill High School vs Queensbury

Spring Hill High School vs Queensbury Footbal Match

Spring Hill High School's first ever sports fixture. On Thursday the 12th of October, Spring Hill High School played a very hard match against Queensbury School. There were some outstanding players. Before the match started, there was a little pep talk by our fabulous coaches Michael Dinn and Dean James. Then at approximately 10am the match kicked off.

The game was very hard and very intense. At the start, both teams were scared and did not know where to go, but they came out of their shells thanks to our captain Mr GML who scored 6 amazing goals. He offered the team great support and he motivated the team as a successful captain. Well done GML! You are a trooper! A big well done to LW, who scored 1 amazing goal and to LW who scored a clear penalty. Well done! You made the team proud.

A big well done to Mr GML who was named the man of the match. Unfortunately Spring Hill High School lost the match 10-8, as they appeared tired towards the end. However a big well done to all the players, they really represented the school well. I would also like to say a big well done to our opponents. We challenged you and you rose to the challenge.

Training sessions will commence when school resumes, after half term to improve the players' fitness levels. Well done everyone. You made the school proud
